Harnett Central Wins 11 inning thriller

HC beat Fuquay 7-6 in an 11 inning heavy weight style battle. Mckenzie Harrelson pitched the entire game with 6 strikeouts and great defensive play behind her. Jordan Smith went 5 1/3 innings giving up 6 runs and taking the loss. Alex Ryan came in to relieve her for a tough 5 2/3 innings giving up what would be the game winning run.
Rematch scheduled for Wednesday, weatherman says don't count on it.
HC JV lost to Fuquay 1-0
    Taylor Smith(WP)
    3 Ks,6 Hits, 1 Walk
    Mary Katherine Pegram (LP)
