Asheville High senior Zach Hall threw a perfect game Tuesday in a 1-0 victory against Enka in the Mountain Athletic Conference.

Hall, who transferred to Asheville from Enka this semester, had eight strikeouts against his former school and improved to 3-1 this season.

Hall, a right-hander, also threw a no-hitter earlier this year.

AK rallies for two runs with one out in the bottom of the seventh. Consecutive hits from Jonny Eaker, Andrew Miller, and Ryan Stetson tie it. After an IW, Darnell’s base hit ends it.

Takes all of four league games for every team in the conference to absorb a loss.

    SW4A key match-up Thursday: AK 3-1 at Providence 3-1

    Probable starters:

    Providence: Richie Shaffer
    Ardrey Kell: Alex Wood

    WHS suffers a letdown?

Watauga led A. C. Reynolds 3-0 heading into the bottom of the sixth, and seemed poised to follow up last night's win in Sawmills with another W and head to 4-0 in the league, but Reynolds rallied for 3 in the 6th and 1 in the 7th to win 4-3.

    Jacob Dixon (S): 1 IP, 2 K

CVAC ST. STEPHENS 2 FOARD 1

As expected a classic pitchers dual between Saint's Jason McEachern (3 hits 11 k's) and Foard's Andrew Wyant ( 4 hits, 6 k's). Saint scores an unearned run in 1st and manufactors a run in the 5th. Foard manufactors a run with help from an error in the 3rd. Overall a well played game by both teams. I think i actually saw batsandballs29 sweating a little:nailbite2:

A train wreck occurred at Person as East Chapel Hill came in and gained a well-deserved win over Person today. The Rockets did not execute in all phases of the game as the box indicates.
