Does anyone know if there is someone who relaces gloves in NC area. I know Glovesmith used to, but don't believe they're in business any longer. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hometown Sports in Hickory(Catawba Co.) next to Lenoir Rhyne repairs gloves and will do it on -site if you wait about 10 min. I took a couple gloves from Play it Again Sports to them for our school team. I think it was like $7-$8.

***Mods, I hope I didn't cross the line, sorry if I did. Feel free to fix***

For future reference, it is never a concern to name a place that can/will help a member; even posting a web address is ok. The only concern is if the business post's their information for advertising purposes only.

Also, we have members that participate in discussions and have been members for awhile. Sometimes they ask a moderator if they can post information that will benefit the other members through discounts or whatever. We consider those posters as partners and will allow it at times.

BUT...there are times a new member signs up for the sole purpose of marketing their website. They provide "teasers" to force one to click on their website to get more information. Those members are extremely irritant and selfish...and they are not wanted.

    Does that make sense?

It is never a problem directing a member to a site that will provide an answer to their question. Or posting a name that can be helpful..ie..hitting/pitching coaches

First of all. Glovesmith is definitely in business......
    check the web site.

We do about 5 gloves a week at Grand Slam USA in Raleigh.
Turn around is approx 1-2 days...
NCSU, Carolina and Duke have all used us for the BB team...

All repaired gloves come with no errors.....

    At fine stores everywhere .

Bring new life to your glove for $4.99 with this Rawlings Glove Lacing Kit. It features a 5" plated steel needle with a coated handle for better grip. It comes standard with rawhide lace that is 3/16" wide and 48" long will do a complete glove , lace is about $3.00 a glove , and you will always have the needle for those quick repairs . Love Your Glove , and it will Love You !!!
