    West Johnston Scores

    West Johnston and Wake Forest played yesterday (3/17) and West won 2-1 after 12 innings of play. Amanda Davenport pitched all 12 innings.(no BB, 7 hits, 2 erros, 18 K's, 1 unearned run). Wake Forest was a very worthy opponet. Great game! Great hitting and pitching from both teams.

    West played East Wake tonight(3/18) winning 3-0. Amanda Davenport pitched all 7 inning allowing 1 hit, no BB, 1 error and 17 K's. Great pitching. Good hitting by Katie & Amanda. Both went 2-4.

    Wildcats now 7-0.

    0-0 with 1 out, bottom of 7th when Parkwood scored.

    Excellent game by both pitchers, Taylor Flynn, Fr, and Kaitlin Stevens, Sr. lefty from Parkwood. Kept the ball down all day from Piedmont hitters.

    Great game in the field by So Mackenzie Macateer at SS. I think she had close to 9 or 10 plays, made every one clean.

    West Iredell HAS TO QUIT leaving runners on if they plan on winning PERIOD!!!!!
    On another note this was BY FAR the WORST called game I have ever seen in my life these umps should be calling 8u ball games They made a mockery out of the game I am NOT IN NOWAY downing NWC they are a STRONG team and they had to deal with these same two for two nights in a row other than the umps this was a GREAT ball game !!!!!!!

    Pitching Duel

    Kelsey Spangler is the pitcher for South Iredell. She had 13 k's, 4 bb's, and 4 hits. Kathleen Pasquarella went 3-3, 2 singles and a double for South.

    Harnett Central Wins(5-2,2-1)

    Harnett Central beat Western Harnett 10-0 in 5 innings.
    Jessie Lane(WP) gave up 2 hits while striking out 8.
    HCJV won 6-4
    Sara Klingel(WP) had 8 Ks 3 walks and 4 hits in the winning effort.
