Will Newell and Tyler Joyner locked up in a pitchers duel for 7 innings. An Enloe error in the bottom of the 7th allows winning run to score.

Enloe home runs: Will Newell and Matt Jurek

Not many hits in the game for either team.

 

Smithfield Selma 9 Garner 8

SSS 9 Garner 8

Senior Kevin Smith hits a walk off 3 run homer in the bottom of the 7th for the win. Tate Parrish got the start and gave 5 strong innings while Will Stephenson got the win in relief. Junior second baseman Josh Holloman hit two homeruns for SSS.

SSS moves to 3-0 in the Greater Neuse River Conference
