I don't know what to make of a coach issuing 3 intentional walks to the same player (Shaffer) in a regular season high school baseball game.

    Butler @ South Meck

    Butler 7
    South Meck 5

The field at Butler was too wet, so the game was moved to South. This was a great game with the lead going back and forth. Both teams played hard to the last out.

    Butler: Tewell 1/1 (GWHR, 2 RBI), Brewer 1/2, Mullis 2/4 (2B), Moore 1/3 (4 RBI), Glass 2/4

Hearrell starts for Butler and pitches well, but gets a no decision. Tewell enters in the 5th with the score tied and allows 1 hit, 1 walk, 2K and no runs in the final three innings.

Can someone please post SM stats?

Great ball game.....typicall when these two teams meet.

007....The situation called for intentionally walking Shaffer, you play to win and Shaffer has the ability to beat you with one swing. I would have done the same thing...:FIMunching06:

You must have the same cell phone as Strechty, because Brandt pitched 7 innings and Connor pitcher 2
