    achs jvs held played audrey kell`s varsity team yesterday. east surry was a no show and they had a good showing dropping a close 3-1 game to a strong varsity team!!!

    You are right! It was a good game despite the errors and terrible officating. Both teams had some bad calls. I had the honor of watching two great teams and pitchers at work. Both teams had great pitching and good hitting. West had their worse defensive game so far this season. All the runs where unearned.

    Not sure where you got your stats., but having watched the game I know that Ashley Flower, Brittany Doty, Katie Kinser and Amanda Davenport had atleast one hit each. I think Davenport may have had 2. Check the Sunday N&O Box Scores. You know how subjective scoring is, but I agree with the N&O.

    The last run was unearned

    Just want to clarify that the 'bloop single' was no single. It was an error by the 2nd baseman. It clearly should have been caught and the ball went off her glove. SW 2nd pitcher gave up 1 UNearned run.

    With ACHS,FV, & WJ all taking a loss, wonder how the polls will shake up tommorrow. Will this make ND #1. As far as I can recollect, there are only 2 undefeated teams left. Should these teams be ranked 1&2 or will that nasty word "politics" come in to play.

    The newspaper had that listed as a hit? Did your coach score it incorrectly? The player that hit it was 3-4... Oh well, a wins a win.. Big win for Parkland girls! Don't be hatin....

    Not hatin' anyone. FYI...don't have a daughter on either team. I love the game, played it, coach it and I know how to keep score. Just wanted to clarify that it was an unearned run because of the 2nd baseman's error.
