Wesley Mister pitched 5 innings and Jaile Dailey threw 2 innings for the winning Red Wolves. Jeremy Stalker got the complete game loss for the Patriots. Chad Burkhart had a single and a triple to lead CR. Chris Dameron had a single and a HR for Southern.

 

Congrats to Coach Snead and the Roanoke Rapids bunch. I know they are getting ready for a nice run down the stretch.

West Stanly/Concord

West Stanly defeats Concord 11-2. Brett Brinson and Tyler Eudy have home runs. Matt Large gets the win. West Stanly improves to 10-0 for the season. They play Concord again at West Stanly today, then Salisbury on Saturday.

 

Ragsdale 14, Northeast Guilford 4 --5 innings

Ragsdale (12-1) wrapped up their Easter tournament with a win against Northeast Guilford in 5 ininngs.

I'll be glad when Wossa gets back to posting b/c I don't have a lot of stats.
Ragsdale went 3-0 for tourney champ.

Did Ragsdale play Eastern twice? They played Eastern on WEdnesday didn't they? I thought they were going to play Northeast.

BigRed I assume you have a kid on the team? We'll have to meet sometime. Of course maybe we already have.

Brandt allowed no hits and only 3 base runners (2 walks and an error). The GH run scored after a walk and a infield grounder which went past two FV fielders (both errors) to score the runner from 1st.

 

That was the first no-hitter for FVHS since 1984.
Kevin lowered is ERA to .30, struck out 10 raising his total to 33 in 23 innings.
He went 3 for 4 with 2 triples and a doubles raising his batting average to .515 with 3 homers, 2 triples and 4 doubles.
This fine young man is some catch for any Div. 1 school.
