    Right on point with that one. Against South, East got about 25 or so outs (didn't need the last 3) and won 5-0. Basically the difference in the game.

    NPC has 3 teams in the sweet 16!!!! Should be 4 with E.Rowan. Looks like it is the toughest 3a conf.

    this could be because the sweet 16 is only from that area
    but it is a strong conference indeed

    East Rowan beats NWC 5-4. Another game given to East.

    W.Rowan beats S.Rowan 7-2.

    Lake Norman beats North Iredell 4-3 in 8 innings. Starting pitcher for North Iredell (A.Johnson) threw a heck of a ballgame. Gave up 3 hits and had double digit K's in seven innings. G.Braun made first start of the year and threw well in four innings. Lake Norman was down and came back late starting with a HR by N. Lamoscola, and a two run double by J.Faist. Lamoscola came in and ended up getting the win by throwing 3 innings striking out 8.

    East now has their full pitching staff available, as Kent Basinger came back yesterday after an early season knee injury, to pitch 2 innings in relief. This is scary considering their number 5 pitcher (1.Shive 2.Holmes 3. Basinger 4.Roland 5. Laws) Cody Laws threw a perfect game last week against previously unbeaten West Stanley (13-1). East improved to 13-2 on the season and 9-0 in conference.
