From what I understand, most get their permission from the coach because he/she are the one's that supply the technical information (rosters, schedules, pics, etc.)...and the coach gets the okay from the necessary administrators. I don't recall anybody having a problem developing one...in fact most admins and coaches openly support it as long as they have some kind of control.

Most at my High school would say..."What is this softball you speak of??" Probably thought it was spam and deleted it.

    Hopewell Softball Website

Hopewell softball does have their own website that is developed outside of the CMS School Website. I believe all schools should set up a website specifically dedicated to each sport to better support, and promote the students/players. Not only is the website informative, but it gives the girls something to be proud of and tell their family and friends about. Coach Webster loves the fact that he has tremendous support from the parents who love to offer this type of assistance to his program.

And what kills me is how can a coach and/or AD not know how important that is to these young ladies?

Believe ME some don't give a rats rear. Anybody can "coach" in HS that can keep the field from catching on fire and the kids from fist fighting......Sorry I'm just envy of the schools that actually have people in charge that have passion for this great game.

Thank you for your positive response and letting me use TBR as a reference. However I do have a NCHSAA Media Pass but I always want to give the coach a heads up that I will be there and if they'll paint a box(dead area) that I can shoot from. Some coaches don't want anyone on the field and I don't want to go and be told no when I get there.

I also like to have a roster so when I send photos to TBR or NCSCA, I can identify the young ladies in my photos.

Completely understand. Can they give you a copy of the lineups? If I have a relationship with one of the coaches, they never mind giving me one. Heck, it's for their benefit.

Let me know if there is ever anything we can do to help.

    Agreed !!!

I see what you're saying ,but once the response is in writing you can't change your thought, it's too late !! I think parents ask or inquire answers that might put an AD / Coach's head on the chopping block, and that is where the paranoia comes from...how do I know what I send you stays between you and me, you might forward it !! Then you will have issues:shout: !!
