    Olympic 11-3, 6-0 Queen City
    South Meck 6-7, 3-5 SW4A


    Olympic is playing very well. Simpson looked very strong tonight. Nice complement to Corey Roberts on the hill. Torrez is a four year starter behind the dish. (Will be missed after having knee surgery next week, expected to miss four weeks.)

    Simpson, Krause and Roberts give them good pop in the middle of the line-up.

    This team will surprise someone come playoff time, especially if Torrez is back.

    West Stanly/ East Rowan

    East Rowan defeats West Stanly 9-0. East dominates the whole game. I believe the East Rowan pitcher threw a perfect game. The only complaint and this did not effect the outcome in any way was the home plate umpire, he was terrible. I believe the East crowd will say the same.

    Great game at East burke tonight.EB wins 3 to 1 behind the arm of Cory Rhoney. Rhoney had 13k's, 2 walks, and 5 hits for the victory.

    South Granville v. Webb

    South Granville defeated Webb 1-0 in a pitcher's duel. Josh Darroch got the shutout for the Vikings, giving up two hits, striking out 11 with no walks and 1 HBP. Mitchell Frazier pitched a one-hit gem, striking out 9. The lone run came in the sixth on a hit and three walks, including a bases-loaded walk with two out. Neither team made an error in this well-played game in which both pitchers dominated.

    Davie County 6 North Davidson 4

    Davie Co. beat N. Davidson tonight in a Central Piedmont match up. Don't have many details but must have been a good game.
