    Ryan Stetson at Ardrey Kell

Ryan, a 2009, is having an unbelievable year so far for the Knights. He is batting .479 with 5 HR's and somewhere around 20 Rbi. The impressive thing is he is hitting to all fields with power not just being a one-dimensional pull-hitter. To top it off he roams CF and the base paths with 6.8-6.9 speed. It just not fair to have all these tools! Keep it up Ryan!:xyxthumbs:

For us South Caldwell we have really do not had one guy that has stood out above the rest. Everyone has been doing a great job. but one guy who has made a lot of things happen this year has been our leadoff guy. Debrnodi (sp) He has found ways to get on base and used his speed to move around and score a lot of runs. Also hit 2 homeruns so far. I knew he could play a little but he has been a big surprise to me for just how well he has played

    At Butler,

I think Mickey Brewer (2008) had an exceptional first half. Error free defense in center field, good speed for a big guy, and batting right around .500. Mickey also seems to get the big hit when needed.

    Ardrey Kell - Jordan Darnell

Even though junior Ryan Stetson has been raking (BA of .487 with 5 HR's) - Jordan Darnell may be the MVP.
He is their number one starting pitcher winning the tough games that he gets to start, and then he closed two other tough games the same week that he started some of the others. He also sports a .406 BA with 3 HR's. With hittting and pitching like this, tough to pick anyone over this senior for MVP.

Watauga High does not have an MVP. They have MVP's. They are the Most Valuable Pitchers. Ethan Moyer, Jon Sharpe, Tyler Moore and Austin Story have combined to lead the Pioneers to a team ERA of 2.78, it's lowest since 1998. None of the four have an ERA over 2.50.

I think that every team that hits the field has them. To put one above the rest it's hard. If you do your job does that make you an MVP or a team player. I would elect the whole team do to the the kid that gets to get in to get in an appearance. Just my opinion.:trampoline::trampoline::trampoline: I like this one
