    East Gaston won this morning at Myrtle Beach against a team from New York, sorry but I don't know the team name. The score was 4-1 and the winning pitcher was Michelle Primm

    Good game, EB played well. Ashley Hasson struck out 14, 1 walk, 1 HB, 2 hits allowed.

    I hear that Holly "bee' Hudson pitched a good game for East Burke. I also heard Dakota Icard pitched East Burke to a win in the JV Game.:xyxthumbs:

    Freedoms bats was not alive tonite, Freedom left 6 runners stranded, could not get the right hits at the right time, but still pulled the win off on a bad night. good job girls, and Hasson keep them K's coming. 14-wow........

    Can't take anything away from the cavs though, they played tough and never gave up. Great games for Jv and Varsity.

    You have to give a LOT of credit to the lady Cavs. Both teams took a pretty bad beating last week against AHS but they came out today and showed that they can play with anybody. Freedom is a very good hitting team and Hasson is one of the primer pitchers in this league and these lady cavs gave them a great game. As for the JVs I believe Dakota will only get better this year and be a great addition to the varsity team next year.

    WP Kelsey Spangler: 2 BB, 2 hits, 5 K's

    Leading hitters for South: Devan Poff 4 for 4, and Laci Graney 3 for 4, Kasey Kerley and Kathleen Pasquarella both went 2 for 4.


    South scored 3 in the top of the 1st, BC answered with 2 of their own in the bottom half of the inning. A walk with two outs and then a shot to left-center by BC's #4 hitter brought in one run, then a couple of mental mistakes by South allowed the other to score. South added 3 more in the top of the 5th to make it 6 to 2.

    WR up 1-0 bottom of 6 in tight game, and Ashlynn Perry hits a 2 out,bases loaded, seeing-eye single up the middle for an insurance run, then SLUGGER Alex Mills hits her 4th or 5th bases loaded triple of the year for the final score.

    S. Stephens did not pitch due to a death in the family, and Amsley (?not sure of her last name) pitched a great shutout game!!!!
