I knew I should have titled that thing. Now I have to fight, "possession" laws to get it back.

    Great job Braves

I see that you donated the Braves combo vehicle. That why we love you. I sure you replaced it with something with a little more giddy up.

I never could get it registered because your name was still on it, so I slapped a license tag on the front and it's good to go

I would like to congratulate both CMS team, too. This is the 2nd year that Butler has done well. And you are right E--there were some very good teams for competition.

Special congrats to my pal, David Brown, for his team winning the championship this year. David Brown is the man!!!! I wonder if the Hopewell supporters bought him a yacht to go with the lake house they will be furnishing him.:N1yeeaah:

Hopewell over Pinecrest for the Championship

    Hopewell 2, Pinecrest 1

    WP - Waters
    LP - McDonald

All the makings of a Championship game! A real pitching duel with Hopewell's Waters allowing only 3 hits and Pinecrest's McDonald allowing only 6; and Waters striking out 9, while McDonald struck out 8. The Titans finally got on the board in the bottom of the 5th, after stranding runners in the 2nd and
3rd innings - thanks to key hits by Keith Prowse and Johnathan Guerrier. The Patriots answered with a run in the top of the 6th to tie the game up 1-1. Bottom of the sixth, Rusty White led off the inning with a walk, stole 2nd and then advanced to third on a Patriot throwing error after Adam Waters flew out to right field. Jack Lane hits a triple to score White and give the Titans a 2-1 lead. The Patriots go down 1-2-3 in the top of the 7th, securing the win for Hopewell. Waters receives the much deserved tournament MVP award.
The Hopewell Titans bring the first place trophy home again, after first winning it in 2006 and Butler winning it in 2007. Congrats to the Butler Bulldogs as well, who finished a strong 3rd in the tournament!
