    Chelsey ( FR ) White has done a great job pitching. Hailey Barrier ( JR ) is also a Great Pitcher just hasn't been pitching due to a bad case of mono. Get well soon Hailey.

    West Johnston has a freshman, Lexi Betancourt, that pitches for the 16U Fuquay Bombs team. She pitched in a game against South Johnston and had 13Ks.

    QUESTION

    I thought there was the Hill girl at HR that was the back-up but had not seen any playing time because of a leg injury. Do they have two? I don't reckin' anyone gets much mound time the way Emma is pitching. Tumbleweeds

    YOU'RE RIGHT

    U R right Tumbleweeds, Nikki did suffer aleg injury @ the beginning of the season, but she's over that. I like to call her RAW- ready, able & willing to get into the game. And yes Stacy Wolfrey is a back up @ HR. She did see some mound time against Concord. But Emma is smokin' right now & if it ain't broke , don't fix it.
