All the comments about playing the games are all true and great, but if you are a Baseball fan (and we all are) you have to visit the Hall at least once in your life. I have been lucky and been twice and plan on going again this year. The Hall itself speaks volumes about the game, plan on being there for the whole day, you will need the time. But what a lot of people don't know, is that all the stores (and there's a bunch) along the strip, are all little halls of fame themselves. The good thing about these stores, things are for sale, and most are all reasonably priced. If you could possibly attend a tournament while you're there, then you got the best of both worlds!:trampoline:

It's the best youth baseball tourney in the country. If my son had fun after what he went through then anyone can have fun. Trust me, you'll have fun. Those people understand the spirit of the game.

My oldest is a sophomore at Ragsdale and also plays for the Heat. Primarily catches and pitches. (16)

My youngest is at Wesleyan Christian in High Point and has been with the Carolina Angels for 3 years. He pitches and plays outfield. (13)

    Both went to Cooperstown.

    Premature celebration....

I agree that playing at Cooperstown Dreams Park is a very special experience....our travel team was playing there a few years ago and we drew the prior nights' home run champion's team for our first game. It was a close game and we held them in check. A third-out, game-ending throw to our first baseman was dropped and two runs scored, suddenly and shockingly leaving us trailing 3-2. We were the home team and in our last at bat, our leadoff hitter tripled off the wall, but our next two hitters were unable to bring him in. Our cleanup hitter struck out swinging to end the game, but the catcher did not catch the ball cleanly. He retrieved the ball and fired it down to first for the last out.....only problem was the first baseman was sprinting to the mound to celebrate the win and the throw went down into the right field corner. Our runner on third scored to tie the game and then they brought in the home run champion to pitch. He promptly walked three in a row and we won 4-3.

    It's a crazy game, sometimes!

Man what an awful story about the kid getting his nose broke! My son went without me, but we some trusted friends. Upon arrival he was bitten on his arm by the coaches dog, which left a pretty big puncture wound and he was treated at the clinic and released, however the next day the dog died!? Demetrius Ingram (signed w/ NCSU) was on his team and hit some of the longest HR's they said they had ever witnessed at Cooperstown.
