    Kings Mountain vs East Rutherford

    Kings Mountain 7
    East Rutherford 0

WP Jordan Childers 5K's 0 Walks
    LP Laura Hopper

    Megan Hoyle 2-4 double, triple 2 RBI's
Hailey Hoyle 3-3 triple 1 RBI
    Hailey Barrett 2-4 double 2 RBI's

Kings Mountain is really stepping it up. Defense looked good. Tough up the corners and up the middle. Outfield worked as a unit. No balls getting by that group. Cover for each other well.
Jordan is looking good on the mound.
    Peaking at the right time.

    South Meck 0 (unsure)
    Providence 4 (11-2, 8-2)

    WP: Leah Quant (10-2) 7 K's, 2 BB's, 4 Hits, 0 Runs

    PHS Hitters:
    L. Habig 2/2, 1 BB, 2 doubles, 1 RBI, 1 run
    M. Fletcher 1/3, double, 2 RBI's, 1 run, game winning hit.

    Recap:
Pitcher's dual through 4 1/2 innings. PHS broke it open with some big hits by their power people. Casella got on with two outs with a throwing error. Quant walked, Fletcher hit a double for 2 RBI's, went to three on throw. Wills walked and Fletcher scored on a ball four wild pitch. L. Habig doubled scoring Wills.

Lots of good defensive plays made by both sides when they needed them to keep the score 0-0 through 4.5 innings. Both pitchers battled a tough stirke zone and did very well. Beautiful day to play.

    South Iredell vs. East Lincoln

South got a much needed win this evening against East Lincoln, 5-3. Catcher, Kathleen P., hit a 3-run bomb on a 3-2 pitch, with 2 outs to put South on top 3-1, and they never looked back. Great win for the Vikings. Pitcher, Kelsey Spangler, battled on the mound tonight for South.
