I used to not like it, but is better than sitting in the dugout like a bunch of zombies......

    Exactly!

This is one of the easiest ways to get the girls into the game, turn momentum in your favor, get under the skin of the other team, and know when the girls (or other team) are out of it.

We encourage (just short of mandating) our girls to do it. The only time we make them stop is when it is a blow out in our favor.

As a matter of fact, the ONLY girls that are allowed to sit down in our dugout are the current pitcher and catcher and only on hot days.

Yeah, I didnt go to any of the games back when I was at North. I was on the track team and always more occupied with the track girls ;)

I was at South Iredell, they were playing one of the Lincolns. I was shooting it for a friend who's step daughter is on the South team. Bad day for photos though.

    Track team?.....

......if you were on the track I'll bet you know ALL about singing.......the blues. Stick to what you think you know. LOL, Bring it on marky mark, but leave fastpitch out of it. Now pick up your baton and get back in line.

I have to go with mark on this one....Fastpitch softball is a great game, but the screaming is out of control. Are they cheerleaders or softball players? Just for the record.....Jenny Finch is one of the hottest women on earth.

Well, in some cases, they are cheerleaders playing softball. But believe me, its better to have them on the fence cheering than sitting in the dugout taking about things i dont want to hear about. Girls just got to be vocal for their teammates is all.

I'm not really talking about cheering on team mates, that's common in all sports. I'm talking about the coordinated chants or whatever. ugh.
