    Harnett Central Falls to Triton

Harnett Central couldn't manage to hang on to a first place tie in Cape Fear Valley conference. Candice Faircloth(WP) had 7 Ks, and gave up 6 hits. She managed to keep the hits spread out enough to strand 6 runners in scoring position.
McKenzie Harrellson(LP) gave 7 hits, 4 in the 7 inning scoring 3 runs. It was a heartbreaking 4-1 loss for HC.
So much for my midseason prediction on HC winning conference. Dinner tonight: size 11 wide, what goes good with foot(in mouth):pyth:?

    Triton JV won 7-6
6-2 lead vanishes in top 6th due to a dazzling display of EEEEEEE.

I am sure the TBR's don't mind seeing a NCAA'r keeping up on little ole NC and the high school ball. We check on you all the time out there. Your pop's was at the game yesterday and it was soooo good to see him! I am glad you are keeping up. I throw the recaps up there for you past players & parents a lot when I got word you guys check this thing. Maria is doing very well at FMU too, they are ranked on up there. Miss you kid, but you'd be proud of your teammates, they are doing great! Thanks for the love, we miss you lots.

Yeah Pendley was on the mound...she gave up an early run but took command from there. ( 7 IP, 1 R, 4 H, 5K's)

McDowell scored one in the first to tie. Then they added two runs in the third and fourth innings plus a run in the sixth to seal the victory.

    McDowell Offense

    Coley: 2 doubles, triple
    Wallace: 2 triples, 2 RBI's
    Fields: Single
    Boone: 2 walks
