Polls

The polls are relatively new. Not all high school coaches in the state are members of the NCSCA. You can't vote if you are not a member
Encourage the coaches in your area to join and vote in the polls.

 

Yes I know, But there should be enough coaches in the state that knows who the best teams in the state are, don't you think?

 

The polls are for fun information and to give some strong programs a little recognition. Two things I know about polls are that they are opinions of the people that take part in the poll and that they will always be open for debate.
Thanks to everyone on TBR that have been concerned about Butlers place in the standings, but to be honest we are happy with it and are glad to be listed with the quality teams on there week to week. Any team listed could beat any other team on there no matter the ranking.
At Butler we just want to work hard towards our goals and believe that the work and dedication to the team, game and each other is what is important, the rest will take care of itself.

List The Members!

Here's an idea, why not list the NCSCA members here?

 

I think Pop has mentioned this, but I believe listing the records would be helpful. Some of the Eastern Coaches have no idea about the Western teams and the same for us, we don't really know the Eastern teams. It's a collection of opinions.

It's an honor to be considered in the top 10, but just like NCAA Softball, baseball football and basketball the last poll is all that matters.

We are still somewhat new with this and it's always going to be picked apart by someone, just be thankful we have people trying to lead our game of softball and we have rankings and a great coaches association..

 

Are there just two other 3a teams besides Foard in your conference? I didn't realize that but I may be looking at it wrong.

Wouldn't it be great if we faced off in the playoffs? Can't wait just a couple more weeks..

 

I think that would be tough on Coach Stan. Playing teams around here has been hard because almost all of them have a Sting player or two. We sort of have to pull for our opposing Sting players under our breath.

Is your conference split 3a/2a? We are going to that with the next reallignment. It won't hurt my feelings that we won't have to play Enka and Roberson as conference games. Always two tough teams to face.
