    Lake Norman lost to West Iredell 10-6 on Friday night. G.Braun threw for LN and was out in the 2nd inn. He was hurt by defensive mistakes and a grand slam,West put a 9 spot up in the second inning to run away with it early. B.Romito threw 6 inn. for West. and looked sharp all night keeping the ball down and mixing it up well. S.Denton homered for LN in the first.

    East Rowan hammers Moorsville

    East Rowan (15-2, 11-0) defeated 2nd place Mooresville (14-3, 9-3) by 10-1 at Mooresville on Tuesday. East won its 11th game in a row and has been dominate since all its pitching has gotten healthy. East also hit 4 homers in the game including two by starting pitcher Corbin Shive.

    I was told that East Rowan and Lake Norman played last night. Does anyone have any information? I didn't see anything posted in the local papers on-line.

    Here's a nice article in today's paper about East Rowan,,, if you want to know something about ANYTHING, just ask Mike London, he's the best local sportswriter in this area, period. Mike don't just report the game, he tells you so much that by the end of the article, you always feel like you know the participants personally...
