Jason,I made that remark because you brought it to my attention that Freedom played everyone when they beat Patton 27-0. So like wise I assumed ASH also played everyone being the score was so lopsided. :hallo:

6-0 isnt really a lopsided score. take away one inning and its a 3-0 game.theres a huge different between the two games.

    3A knocks down 4A

St. Stephens defeated #8th Ranked 4A Freedom Patriots by the score 1-0. The Indians put forth text book pitching and defense. Great job Indians keep up your winning ways.

    Providence @ Hopewell

    Providence 0 (13-3 / 10-2)
    Hopewell 2

    WP: Spain 5 K's, 1 BB, 3 Hits
    LP: Quant (11-3) 8 K's, 0 BB's, 3 Hits

Both teams had three hits, but Hopewell had one timely hit that made the difference; a rope hit by Lewis to LCF in the third. Outstanding pitching performance by both pitchers. PHS had their chance to score and got cut down at the plate in the 5th. PHS needed to run the bases better throughout the game to score. Hopewell made every play they needed to secure the win. Well played game on defense by both teams. Again, awesome pitching performances on both sides. Good game played by two good teams.

    PHS:
    E. Quant 1/2, double
    K. Vanderhill 1/2
    S. Casella 1/3

    Hopewell:
    S. Spain 1/3, double
    J. Lewis 1/3, double RBI, Run
    J. Taylor 1/2, inf hit, Run
