    I have a very special shout out tonight for my DD Sam #6. She hit her first grand slam tonight!!!! Shout out to Kayla Boles for her home run tonight also. The Lady Cards also finished the conference 16 -0.
    Way to go girls!!!!! We are so proud of U all!!!!:ylsuper:

    CD 4 ND 0

    What a game. huge crowd at Central Davidson, and saw a gem of a game from their Spartans.

    CD hit Tess Swing really well, even though she pitched really tough for ND. A lot of familiarity there, of course... (Swing transferred from CD to ND), so she knows how to get a lot of the CD girls out, and they know her pitching.

    Both teams are very talented, and ND is one of the fastest groups I have seen, but Chelsea Leonard was overwhelming. Another great performance from her. Unofficially, 16 Ks and I think 1 hit. Against sluggers and speed like ND, that is tremendous.

    Nicole Perry with a HUGE 2 run blast that opened it up after Central had opened a 1-0 lead. they get one more in the 5th or 6th, and Leonard finished it off!

    Great game, GREAT CROWD (that is for the much maligned student section who were loud and PERFECT tonight), and great teams.

    Just kidding Kris....

    Winning pitcher Candice Faircloth pitching a no hitter
    Losing pitcher Kerstine Womack

    Will provide stats tomorrow on pitching. Off top of my head I believe Faircloth struck out around 16 batters.

    While Western did get the ball into play, that ball landed in the hands of a Triton fielder every time. All three runs scored by Triton were due to errors on the Western field.

    Sorry Kris - maybe Southern will take them out for ya :)

    MP's defense really stepped up and allowed no one to reach first. 2nd Baseman C. Cook had 2 PO's and 5 assists. T. Miller had a 2 run HR and C. Thomas ended the game with a solo lead off HR at Bottom of 4th.

    Mount Pleasant // 14-5 / 12-2 RRC

    Next game Tues 4/29 // 4:30 / MP at South Stanly
