    Hey Southern, any truth to it that CM is going to adopt Rocky Mount as his 3A team, he has a 4A team. :puke:

    Lets not forget...

    That Cameron Conner arguably one of the best hitters in the state isnt have the season he is capable of, having played agaisnt him i dont expect that to last much longer...when the games come down to win or go home expect fuquay to step it up to an even higher level.

    FV Beat Athens Drive 8-5 to move to 19-0. Unbelievable.
    Cameron and Kevin both went 2-2 with each getting a single and a HR.

    All good things must end, but 19-1 isn't bad.
    Fuquay lost to a good Middle Creek team, that has some super fielder,
    6-3.
    Kevin Brandt took the lose, while striking out 13 he gave up 5 hits and 5 earned runs.

    no body likes to lose but sometimes it can build a lot of character. this team is the type of team that will use this as a learning experience and bounce back. congrats to middle creek on the W and to fuquay on the impressive streak.

    Agree 150% Winning is everything. I look at some of the teams that work to win, but do not have the tools. We all play them, they win maybe one or two games a year. But they still try. Not to knock any team out there. But, for these kids to go out and play their best. So winning can be everything when it happens for them.

    Not sure the TBR jinx can be blamed, the CM jinx might have had something to do with it ????? :moon:
