    If my old memory serves me right, there was a promo out last year about fastpitch softball that was supposed to be released this year. I believe it was about a high school team who lost their coach & the football coaches were assigned the task of coaching the softball team & taking them to state. I believe one of them got cancer. Suppose to be based on a true story. Does anyone know anything about this, seen the movie, etc? Tumbleweeds

    They had open casting call back in September.
    Supposedly it is in production.

    I've never heard of this story or the movie itself. When you visit the website, make sure you take a look at the trailer. Looks to be one of those movies that shows what can be accomplished when a group of athletes ban together and rally behind their leader.

    Also click on the link...Why "STATE". It gives some ineresting stats on fastpitch softball.

    I personally can't wait

    I think it will be great, judging from the trailer! So I say hurry up and finish it! Looks to be a great story! Kinda on the same basis as "Remember The Titans" or "We are Marshall" Bothe GREAT movies and examples!

    another base/softball movie

    called "The Final Season".. Check it out.. It's very good! Acting is so so but the story line is awesome! Based on a true story in Norway! Small town committment always beats consolidation and "whats best for a community"
