    Games ?

Don't know how many, 15 if lucky. I know coaches don't get paid much, but I think our coach came out good . Last one to practice, 1st to leave, calls off games at slightest bit of rain. Girls have hardly played enough to get into a rythym & then coach hollars at them for not hitting. New pitching machine, hardly been used all season. Oh well, summer ball almost here !

One of our parents purchased a hitting machine a few weeks ago for our HS team. It got used in one practice but the coaches couldn't figure out how to use it so they kept plunking batters. But wait, it gets better! The next time they went to use it, one of the coaches put a real ball into the machine. It got stuck so he started hitting it with the end of a bat. Needless to say, the team is looking for another pitching machine now...

I may be from the old school, but it looks like a school could hire somebody or get somebody that knows the game of softball and has a passion for the sport to coach, it's not fair to those girls that want to play and to have a coach that dosen't care and only does it for the pay. Our coach has done a good job this year in my opinion. He seems to to be trying and thats good enough for me.

    Couldn't agree more!

We know oh to well what it is like to have HS coaches who don't seem to care too much (I won't say they don't care at all)... It is very upsetting and not fair to the girls who love the game and want to compete.

I am sure there are folks out there who would still complain if they had coaches that were just trying but that would be a huge step in the right direction for us!
