You know Kevin, as much as I have enjoyed watching “your boy” play, I think I have enjoyed getting to know you better. While I sit in awe, as everyone else does, of your son’s god-given talent, you also bring something that goes unrecognized, but is equally admirable. I’ve experienced some dads that “big time” other people because of the accomplishments of their son. For whatever reason they feel they are “entitled” to rise above others and place their self worth according to the successes of their son. I’ve witnessed them ignore others they deemed “not worthy” of their time. It’s sad to see, but I believe it speaks volumes to their character.

You sir, are as real as any person I have ever met. Your unbridled pride and enthusiasm for your son is certainly recognized, but it is your honest faults that I have always admired. You don’t make excuses for your passion; you don’t hide your feelings about anything. There is not a subject you won’t discuss (personal or otherwise). You are whom you are and you don’t make excuses for that.

I know one thing, if I ever needed someone to help, there may be many I could call, but there are not many I could count on….and you are that one.

So, while I enjoyed the “perfect” night that Madison enjoyed, I think I was happier for you.

By the way, Braves, jr did not disappoint. He hit me up for tickets, food and money.

Alright Braves, no more of that... Had to get a tissue. As you know, baseball people are the best in the world and I just love to be around them. The only place that I would rather be than the baseball field would have to be a place with "scantily clad women." On a serious note, Thank You very much for the very kind words. You my friend are very special.

    Kevin,

I echo what Braves said earlier as well.....good to see you and it was great to see Madison throw again.

Look forward to seeing you out on the Legion filed some this summer. :smart:

I can tell that Braves is a smart man, he brings you along to increase the IQ of the group, as well as it just plain makes him look better.
Thanks very much for coming up. I know that I have an advantage on you, there is a Morris kid in Charlotte that I got to call strikes for a few years ago. Bet you never got to do that. "notice I said that I got to call STRIKES"
