    No game vs. Vance

    Cometfan, there was no game played between Vance and Hopewell last night. Vance's team folded right after spring break. Hopewell will be playing West Charlotte tonight in a doubleheader @ Hopewell. Tonight is Senior Night, and after watching our seniors play their final regular season home game of their careers, we will celebrating with a cookout after the 2nd game. Come on out if you get a chance. Knowing you, I'm sure you will be going to the N. Meck vs. Central Cabarrus game, which is also this evening at Central. Central looking for some revenge. Should be a great game.

    That makes them tied in conference for #1, each with 1 loss... Wonder whether they will use conference tourney to sort it out?

    Candice Faircloth Threw another perfect game against Overhills Tuesday.
    Holly Howard(FR) led the offense going 4-4 with 2 homeruns.

    HC beat Union Pines 21-6 in Varsity action.
    Jessie Lane was winning pitcher.
    Toni Ann Williford went 4-4 at bat, 4 doubles, 4 runs, 3 RBI, 2 walks.
    Heather Nobles had 2 3 run homeruns.
    Tori Williford hit her first high school homerun.

    HC JV won 7-1.
    Mary Katherine Pegram(WP) had 11 Ks, 2 hits, 5 walks.
    Centrals offense was hot with 15 hits.
    Leading the way was MK going 4-4.
    Sara Klingel went 2-3, 2 doubles, 2 runs, 3 rbi, 1 walk.

    Hope to get to several NC State games next year to see Toni Ann (and Landon) at the next level.
