ALLSTATE

Lets get some opinions----who would you pick for allstate in all brackets 1a-4a

 

Kids who were all district are....

...the only players that can be allstate. Atleast thats how I understood the process. Many, many, very talented kids play in NC!!!! Some kids may have coaches who, for reasons way beyond my comprehension, choose not to nominate player a, b, or c. or any of his team period, to the district folks. That sucks, and no doubt in my mind, their inevitably will be a kid or two who should be all-dis, all-st., all-Am, but if the coaches don't get the kids names in the pot, the district heads can't choose them. Oh well, my DDs last HS game is tomorrow, and I can't help but look back over the last 4 yrs of games, play, wins, losses, and cool folks we've met along the way. All-State to me means ALL of our HS kids paving their way as we as parents love to see. Look, this HS time and, the ALL this, and the ALL that, is great, but its like a snapshot in our lives. We'll put it in a drawer, for good keeping, and from time to time, bring out of that drawer great memories!!

 

Good point!! As I stated in the All-District nomination thread the coaches need to nominate the kids. It's simple to do and you don't have to be a member.
The deadline has passed now, and I'm sure someone will complain about kid a, b, or c not making it. This is the number of schools in District 7 that nominated players.

19 schools sent nothing... Some very good teams not represented. It's getting better, but we need 100% participation..
