Prayers needed for the Ed Matthews Family

    Hey Everyone,
    It's with a sad heart that I ask all our softball community to be in prayer for one of my Carolina Cardinals coaches, Eddie Matthews and his family.
    Eddie lost his dad this morning. Jana, Josie, and Jake lost a great friend and grandpa. Melanie lost a fantastic father in law. He also leaves behind a devoted and loving wife.
    "Big Ed" was an avid softballl fan and spent a lot of time with us througout the past few years. Anyone who knew him could witness his passion for life and our sport.
    I personally think he was one of the most caring men I've known. He was a role model in every sense of the word. I will miss him dearly. Please lift the family up during this time of loss and sorrow.

    Our thoughts are with the family and all our prayers will focus on the Cardinals organization and the Matthews family.

    Sorry for your loss Eddie may GOD wrap HIS loving arms around you and you're family in this time of loss and give you all comfort .....Prayers sent up and may GOD BLESS !!!!!

    Ed Matthews Visitation

    The visitation for Ed Matthews is Wed. night, 6-8 pm, Vogler Funeral Home, Clemmons, NC.
    The funeral is planned for Thurs.
    Some have asked for the address for Eddie Matthews.
    It's 3517 Ralph Rd., Boonville, NC 27011
