CVAC Tournament Scores

Newton-Conover travels to Canton Pisgah tomorrow for a 5 o clock game. I hear they don't have lights, hopefully the game will go quick.

 

Nathan it gets dark a little bit later in Canton. They are farther west, and closer to the sun. Good luck tomorrow!

 

You are right...they do not have lights. The field sits right on the Pigeon river and it gets chilly sometimes. It was definitely chilly today; I haven't really heard the weather for tomorrow but it is better to be prepared.

The weather should be great and plenty of daylight to finish the game. Might want to add a little extra travel time for the construction zone between Candler and Canton.

 

Thank you, we will roll out from the school around 12:30. It seems this is a very big deal at Newton as this is the first ever fastpitch team to reach the playoffs. Last playoff softball team was 1996. Pep rally, booster paid lunch, long bus ride, sounds like fun! Is anyone from TBR planning on watching Pisgah? If so, look for a short, fat guy wearing a red NC hat.....LOL

Sure would like to see NC and Pisgah. I have two family members with the LKN team playing today at Hickory Ridge. The last time I seen Pisgah play was at West Henderson when Brittany Underwood was playing for Pisgah. There are lots of TBR members in that area.

 

CVAC All-Conference players

I read some of the CVAC All-Conference players but all of them weren't listed. Does anyone have a list of all the girls that were named All Conference?

 

There are more....

....St. Stephen's head coach has not announced to her team yet, even though announcements were made at conference tournament. I don't know about the other teams in our conference.
