    Congrats

on the win. Yes Dillon Dickens RHP Freshman for Roxboro is going to be a very good one. His natural arm slot is very unique and everything he throws he gets a ton of movement on and natural sink.

FV is FV. If you know what I mean. They are always very well coached. They are going to pressure offensively 1-9 they can all swing it. They have some big name guys like Conner and Brandt at the plate but its the other guys that can really hurt you as well. They throw strikes and play defense and usually will not beat themselves.

You have to throw strikes yourself and play defense very well. And then you have to get some clutch hits with risp. They will be the favorite to win this game I think you know that. But games are not won on paper. Just ask SE Guilford about that. Good Luck

Thanks, Kenny. I know Lumberton is and should be a big underdog. But this team has been amazing with its ability to find a way to win. The only thing I'm not sure they can compete with is a big-time arm as I don't think we have faced one this year. Lumberton has a bunch of pesky hitters that do OK against average speed guys. Our guys will throw strikes and we should play good defense.

How about the matchup with E. Forsyth and Watauga tomorrow. Any predictions amongst you gurus of the game?

I've been able to follow East Forsyth through my buddy, Eagles 1313. I have enjoyed reading their successes this year, as they were given little respect. What I really like about them is their team chemistry to complement their obvious talent. The fact that it is a home game only tilts the advantage to the Eagles.

But, Watauga is a unique team. They play the best non-conference games they can find for the sole purpose to make their team better. Coach Hardee has always realized wins/losses makes no difference except for conference games, so he schedules accordingly.

The thing you will find between these two teams are they are so much alike. Both teams do everything together off the field. Their team chemistry is perfect....just what you want going into the playoffs. Both teams have front line pitchers and their hitters attack the ball. It's almost like looking in a mirror watching these teams.

What I believe will separate these teams tonight is Tyler Moore. There is no other pitcher in NC like him. He has more arm angles than Pamela Anderson and has a sneaky fastball to go along with his breaking stuff. Even if he tried, he can't throw a straight pitch...they are all crooked. He has mound presence, maturity and is extremely competitive. Listen, this kid shutdown South Caldwell. Something no one else has been able to do.

Now, if Ryan Dull was starting I would give a slight edge to the Eagles. It will be a great game, but I do have a question.

I don't know where East Forsyth is. I need directions and free concession food. I'm bringing my Tribe and they ain't cheap. I asked one of them the other day what their favorite restaurant is and he replied, "Any game that has a concession stand."

I hope to see all the Eagle and Pioneer fans at the game. Come up and say hi. My kids may bite, but I don't.

    Braves.....

I would take I-85 North to Hwy 52 to Business 40 East. From there get off at the Linville Road Exit. Turn right when you get off of the exit ramp and then take another right at the first stop light that you come to. That road is West Mountain Street. East Forsyth is about 1-1.5 miles on the right and the baseball field is at the entrance of the school. If you have any questions PM me and I'll give you my cell incase you need further info.
