Pitched a gem against my studs

Great memories and you were the only kid in 3 years to beat my Stars in the Wednesday night wood bat league. For the record you cost me 300 bucks BUT I do congratulate you on that win.

    Thanks Strechlon

GEEEZ, thanks caps...I had 3 hits that game. Yes, i know, it was because I was the smallest guy out there and they pitched to me haha, the highlight of that night for me was burning that right fielder who was playing me at little league depth. JR, do you still talk to jason?

    Selfish i know...

I actually remember that exact hit your talking about, Those were good times on the mound in RM, That was the first place i broke 80 the fall after my freshman year. I havent spoken with Jason in a while although my parents saw him this past year at his sons baseball game.

    just one question

is this the norm? being "asked" to play on varsity? and it being the player's choice? I thought the coach decided who he needs on varsity? didn't know players were given a choice.

    jason

jason was supposed to come watch us play at athens drive but he couldnt make it. Remember Dan pitching against your Cubs in that championship tournament game in WF after closing the many extra innings game before. I couldnt believe you didnt play for us. Dan pitched 13 straight scoreless innings in 2 games. In our HS Scrimmage, Dan pitched only 3 batters and I heard he was very limited on the mound this year. I feel bad that I pitched more than both you and him this year, especially since you guys are the real pitchers. My big record was 1-1-1 as a closer. My old buddy Zach Howell lit one up on me and took a save away at Garner. I knew I should have shook off the inside fastball on a 1-2 count. He never could hit my curve or knuckle.

    hmmm

No, special circumstance called politics there. Actually, this year we used players back and forth where I was at and the JV players were asked if they felt up to the task. Is this the norm?
