    I remember a parent telling me their DD's BA. After hearing her average, I said, 'You're kidding!". They sincerely started to recite all their DD's at bats for the last week. I said, "Hold it... Hold it....Hold it!!! That's an on base % not BA".... Geez, HS statistics? They're more inflated than cheeze's ego! :remybussi:

    Everyone needs to be more specific in using the term "college" softball. There is a wide disparity between the SEC and the CVAC. One CVAC school I have seen probably would not finish in the top half of the Southwestern 4A high school conference. Its like talking about "high school" and not specifying Central Cabarrus or West Charlotte.

    Yeah I do and it has caused quite a few problems at home. DD says it's a hit, I say it ain't. She has had a couple of 1 for 4 days she swears it's 3 for 4. She gives me the full credit for killing her average.
