Mooresville jr team starts the legion season opener tonight at home against cherryville at 7:00. They will be short a few players that are still in the playoffs but still should be in good shape.

    1 or 2 ?

in cases like this, do you choose say 2 teams , or just cut a bunch and end up with only one team?

    one team!!!

Mooresville beats cherryville 5-4. HR For Chris Elliot, Wes Dumbford picks up the win and Jeff Mason got the save. I think every one played. We will be back at home Sunday night at 7:00 against Taylorsville .

good start for post 66. beat a always good cherryville team. the moors also did it without 2 of there weapons chris bonaventure and billy nantz, who are still in the state playoffs. chris elliot hit a homerun while driving in 3. taylor thurber was 2-2. tyler lewis was 2-3 2 runs. chris dula also drove in a run. wes dumford started on the hill nd recieved the win. when he was relieved by keith little. jeffrey mason finished it up for the save. looking good early are the baby moors. they play taylorsville tomorrow at 7 should be a show down.

Why do you only mention Mooresville players in your posts???????The game I saw had a LKN player going 2 for 2 and another went 2 for 3...How can the kids mesh when the parents cant see them as one team.......

I do not know every one and really did not get to watch a lot of the game. Was just passing on the score. The kids will come together, its the parents that will take longer.

post 66 wins another moving them too 2-0 after another 5-4 finish. joey mchalpine(fresh) started and was strong through 2. later relieved by kevin wentzel(fresh) and tyler lewis(soph) for 2 innings a piece. followed by the closer jeffrey mason(soph) for save #2. nick keith(soph) was player of the game going 2-2 2 rbi. chris dula(soph) also added 2 hits. chris elliot(soph), tyler lewis, drew mcneil(fresh) finished it off with 1 hit a piece. they play taylorsville away on friday and should be strong with the full roster hopefully.
