    home run derby

....athletic or who can still play ball? Hmmm... I know one who was just as aggressive back in the day as he is on the field now. I'd like to enter him in a home run derby vs any young stud today. This could be a great fundraiser.. haha

nope, my physical ability is slipping as i near 55 and i can only hit infield for about 30 minutes now. i cant catch my daughter anymore without serious injury to my body (not to mention ego) but i can still knock them over the fence (ask my outfielders)....i suggest you give this to coach walt wallace who sill runs 2-3 miles a day and is built like a fire plug with armor.....

    I nominate....

I nominate Chuck Melton! Of course he is a fireman so he kinda has to stay in good shape, but anyway!

The Lone Ranger and Tonto huh........

.......What a great combo they were!! Both big Moe and myself have been known to pick a few hot foul balls from time to time, but that seems to be about it.
Most of the time we just get out of the way and watch'em go by. ( you gotta bow your back too much these days !) We do a pretty fair job hittin' infield and fly balls and such, Mechanics seem to be intact, but doing that for more than 10 minutes is a struggle. But thanks for the props anyway!! (lol)
