No Respect for Raleigh

I have a simple solution. Tell the people out east to post. They are certainly welcomed. This board doesn't have any reporters, so whatever information is provided about a team is provided by their supporters. The more the merrier....I can say this with certainty; everybody on TBR loves to read about all the teams and players. I get as much satisfaction to read about a Jim Leggett @ RM, a Jeff May @ S Granville, a Bentley Massey at Fike and all of the players mentioned out East. But we are only privy to the information that people provide.

 

As long as the scouts and the coaches are coming out I wouldn't care too much. They're the ones that matter.

 

Yea I agree and I dont see how a message board of this type will get scouts to come see you. It is a great board with great people but a community type message board will not get you anything as far as recruiting.

 

ummm...I'm not too sure about that. I know of a lot of scouts that check out names of players they may have missed on here....just ask Andrew Morton @ Belmont Abbey. Not many had heard of him prior to the posting on TBR.

I know quite a few scouts check TBR to read an update of the players they are following: Sometimes a player is mentioned that catches their attention. This is just one of many sources they utilize

 

Charlotte Centric.

I realized this a while back and it has helped us greatly. Im not from Charlotte or the Triad area. But Im learning a lot about how things are done in other places and learning about other players around the state.

I don't hear much about players from our area on here. But thats not this boards fault. Its the people from this area don't post here or are not paying attention to TBR.

 

Can't you do something about that?

 

Simple solution

Post about the players from your area. Get out and see some games that dont just have your kid playing in them or you. Get to know who the players are from your area and not just your team or the teams you play against. Dont use this board as just a way to promote yourself or your kid. There is a reason more kids from the west are talked about and its because more people from the west post on this site.

If you want to enlighten people about players from the Raleigh area all you have to do is post on them here.
