I would love to post more about the players from our school. Ragsdale has some very talented guys. But it's frown upon by many. If I post on 2-3 obvious players, someone gets mad because I didn't mention their kid, or I showed favortism. It's best just to not say anything and keep the peace. Plus, our coach advised us against it.

Every now and then after a couple of beverages I may say something generic about 1-2 guys. For instance, if you are a scout and you have not heard of DeSean Anderson or Ben Fultz then you are behind. Both '010 players. Highly suggest you check them out. I think by now everyone knows Nick McBride.

Forget about what they think. If, you talk about any player and it is positive. What can one say? Your comments may be the only ones about a player that are good. Let's use a player RF never does anything big. Just routine catches and bats for average. No big plays. You and I are sitting in the stands you say that kid in RF is a good player does what needs to be done. A scout over hears. Does it help the player? Forget what people think. IMO if they think bad of you, they thought it before then. As for the coach. That is his opinion. I can see not discussing a player that make a mistake. Happens to everyone, coach included. But, to promote a player. If someone feels leftout. Maybe, they should be.
