actually my HS baseball field had same problem. setting sun in the fielders eyes for 1B, 2B, RF, CF was really baddddd! and coach didn't like you complaining cause I suppose he's the one that laid it off to begin with.

North Davidson Lady Knights at Hopewell Lady Titans

You would have to list the entire roster to show who contributed to North Davidsons' victory, but two that stand out in my mind are Tess Swing (Pitcher) and Elisha Elliott (Shortstop). Also the final out (photo) of the game.

I was at this game, I did not have a dog in this fight but just wanted to see a good game and that's what I got. There were 2 very good teams loaded with talent but sooner or later somebody has to win and both teams had there chances, so why don't we say---WHAT A GAME instead of trying to make excuses why one team won or why one team lost!!!

 

The first HS I served in had a problem with field orientation and the afternoon sun. This was constructed for baseball. The community, school, and system worked together to build a new baseball field not affected by the afternoon sun. Built a wonderful facility lights, concessions, pressbox, fieldhouse/training center,......all the bells and whistles.

The old field is now used for softball. Imagine that.......

 

Wish I had known you was there. There was such a crowd that it was very hard to pick someone out in the crowd. I did get to meet Coach Cragan and several others. Good luck to Kristen and her team against Central Davidson Friday.
