    Probably one of the best freshman pitchers in the tri-states....HMMMMM !! You know though Michael Jordan was dropped his Freshman year..I bet ole Coach Pop at Laney felt kind of stupid after that cut !!!

    Baucom family reunion

    Region 6 has three Baucom's on the roster. They must be pretty good. Not sure if I have seen this many from one family before.

    Totally agree with the post about the Murph.
    She is a big part of why Ledford is in the 4th round of the play-offs this year.
    I can't imagine why she was not picked for the Region 5 team.
    Maybe they will be shaking thier heads when they see her on the mound when we get to Raleigh next round.

    Congrats to all who made the State Games, you will have a great time. Congrats to the Sun Devils who will be representing their high schools in Greensboro.

    Jasmine Conley- Freedom High School- Region 7
    Haily Jarman- Anson County High- Region 6
    Taylor Morris- Weddington- Region 6
    Jessica Fellmeth- Weddington- Region 6
    Chaney Watson- Hopewell- Region 6

    As always there will be a few that are left off teams. I know of a couple that were very deserving that did not make it this year and it will probably happen again. Congrats, to all though and good luck this summer

    1. If the coaches knew she wouldn't show because she was committed to the Dynamite, that would be a good reason to not keep her.

    2. Maybe she had an off day at tryouts?
