I don't know of any details, but my son who helped coach the SC Panthers' team last year (a team with Shaffer, Wood, Bats, Zupcic, etc.) is helping coach their '10 this weekend. He said this is the best team he has ever seen the SC Panther's have. It is an extremely talented team with every tool that you could want....and their speed is unbelievable (might have the fastest player in the region)...all of them can run; all of them can rake and all of them can play defense. But what makes them even more impressive is that they all are supporting each other (no cliques) and they go about their games in a businesslike manner..no rah-rah LL chatter.

...and they are still missing players from Providence and AK

As of yesterday they are 3-0

I know a 2009 team that would be willing to play them and help season them a little bit! :58:

With Alex Wood and Luke Bard on the mound...

With Alex Wood and Luke Bard on the mound, I would say that travel team has more than the odds in their favor - they have the odds, the evens, and the fractions going for them !

Ok, we are a little smarter than the AK students you chided into showing up for the playoff games! They have no shot, but I'm sure the game will get played at some point.

I know the 10's don't stand much of a chance, but they don't know it.

It was a really good event. SCP 010's are pretty good. They beat the 010 Heat. They did have a couple of quick guys. Lots of talent there. I don't have many scores.

Braves, I met your son. Nice young man. Good manners. Good luck in his journeys.

Thanks Putt...I was kidding the 09 SCP folks a little, but I've been told it is a very talented young team and all of them are respectful. They have one kid (Greene- York HS) that my son said is faster than Mike Cavisinni- UNC, Greg Miclat-Va and Cameron Maybin.....all flyers.
