east lincolnton has had a great program in the past. we used to play them in non conference when katie thornburg was a player. great bunch of kids then, havent seen them play in quite some time, but supportive booster club and the parents i knew were always behind the coach.

    Triton

Triton's in a great area at Dunn / Erwin between Raleigh and Fayetteville. And that 3A conference is losing Harnett Central, a perenniel softball powerhouse.

The head job is open? I didn't see a listing for this one on the site where I found the others (high school assoc.). I looked on the city school district page and couldn't find a listing either. Who do I need to get in contact with about this position?

    Thanks.

East Lincoln has a great softball team and most of their players are on travel teams as well. They only lost 2 seniors this year and have a super pitcher coming in as a freshman next year. They only need a good coach to really shine! The parents support the program 100%.

They haven't listed anything yet because they are waiting to fill teaching positions first. I know of at least a Math opening, but the rest is unknown. You can look on the school's website for Kevin Campbell or Don Patrick to answer any questions you may have.

    Triton

Triton is an up and coming powerhouse, that looks to be settling in to dominate the Cape Fear Valley 3A conference for at least the near future.

Several travel teams feed into Triton, including the Bombs (14u & 16u), the Cape Fear Storms (White) and the Carolina Wildcats. Candace Faircloth, pitcher from the Storms, mowed down more batters than I care to recall this year.

Great team, adequate facilities (field through the woods, down a hill, over a ditch, in a field) but tons of promise.
