    What about that SS from Miami. Great feet, probably the best arm I've seen in college baseball since I can remember. Should be up there with that kid from NC IMO anyways.

    Garrison has exceptional hands at the plate and is a wonderful hitter. He's not weak defensively but in my personal opinion he doesn't have the type of glove that Levi has. That's just 1 person's opinion though. They're both outstanding players and UNC can't go wrong either way. I personally think Lassiter will be an outfielder at the highest level rather than a shortstop.

    True, but UNC isn't worried about the higher levels. They are worried of course about what their kids are doing right now. Should be interesting to watch.

    Yeah no problem. We can just respectfully agree to disagree. Again, I'm not knocking Garrison's defensive skills. They are better than 99.9% of the players out there. I'm comparing them to the best of the best, and I just tend to like Levi's glove a little more.

    UNC has three SS coming in next fall (if they don't sign);
    Garrison Lassiter
    Matt Harrison
    Derrik Gibson
    I don't know Levi Michael's situation, but he sure looks like an early round pick in 09. He's the best HS SS I've seen.

    With all the attention given to the UNC's, East Carolina's, and NC State's, it's great to see that the top two draftable players in North Carolina in 2008 are junior college players (Chisenhall-Pitt, King-Surry).

    Goes to show how talented junior college baseball are in this state. More players should realize this instead of chasing the D-1 dream and getting to only play a small amount or not play at all (red-shirting) and think about the great juco programs in NC at Pitt, Louisburg, and Surry.
