    Eastern Randolph 7 -6 over Lexington-Davidson

Too many walks and errors in Post 8 first game. They lose to a good Post 81 team.

Rowan wins on a single from Thomas Hester in the 8th to improve to 2-1 on the young season with a young team. Matt Hall started the game and was lifted for Parker Gobble who did a fine job in relief. Rowan committed 7 errors on the night. W. Forsyth led early 4-0 but Rowan rallied. Rowan also took the lead in the bottom of the 6th at 9-7, only to watch it go with passed balls and another error at second base. Right now this team is inexperienced and they will definitely receive a shot in the arm when they get all the East Rowan players. When they are at full strength, they should be a really good team. Right now, they are going to have to get it done with league games with Statesville, Mooresville, and Stanly County on the horizon still not a full strength.

Also, W. Forsyth's coach was ejected after arguing. So both teams were without their head coaches. Gantt was ejected in Rowan's loss to Concord on Saturday.

Post 63 did most of their damage in the first 4 innings scoring 8 runs right out of the gate. Post 63 also played incredible defense, making only 1 error that I can remember, and making 3 great plays in the outfield- one to throw a runner out at the plate from left, one to double up a Post 7 runner at first on a fly ball caught in center, and a diving catch in left to end the game.

Post 7 is now 2-2 on the season.

These teams meet again Wednesday night (5/28) in Graham @ 7pm.

    SV: Justin Bolens

Kernersville was up 8-2 in the bottom of the 7th and with 2 outs LD scored 6 runs 4 unearned. Kernersville then immediately scored a run in the top of the 8th and Justin Bolens pitched a shut out 8th and 9th to perserve the win.

Kernersville is now 3-1 (1-1) and will play at Eastern Randolph for a conference game tonight at 7.
