    Politically correct?

Since the answer was very "off base" (pun intended), would you consider playing the Carolina Cubs in a three game series? I am sure they would be two, maybe three (going out on a limb that the first two games were split), very good games. Considering the homage Andy paid to Coach K and the Blue Devils, I can see where Andy got his response from.

    Answered......

Looks to me he is to old and run down. I remember 30. Still recovering!!!
Solution: Wewill have an invite only tourney of the FOUR top showcase teams (elected by TRB members only) in the state of NC. Maybe in a couple of states. An if you meet great if not ...think that will solve problem.

    Plate Dad....

That is a very good idea! Get the cream of the crop together to battle it out for bragging rights. Not to mention, all of the college and pro scouts would have a field day at this event!

Isn't this sort of what Andy does every weekend starting today?? He post a tournament and it is open to teams that want to play to sign up? It might be the Heat vs. The Dirtbags, or the SCP vs. the Hurricanes, or the Megastars vs. Maryland Select, etc...

And then Andy has the Impact World Series which is typically the top teams in the state playing against one another?? Just curious what the difference is...

And as stated earlier, there ARE lots of college and pro scouts at these events... Sounds like a great idea!! Guess Andy was ahead of the crowd when started Impact Baseball, or at least ahead of us...

This is a win for bragging rights event. No showcase here. So this way if you are crying about not getting the pats on the back you think your team deserves. Here is the soultion. Put up or shut up. No entry fee for teams. TRB memebers will vote one vote one voice. If you are biased. You can only be for one team. None of this I pick that one and that one. If your team gets voted in. They get to show there stuff.
Teams will be of NC players only.
    No signed players (verbal ok).
    Only two coaches per dugout
Roster will be submitted before voting begins.
Rosters will consist of no more that 15 players and two coaches.
Games will be seven inning. No time limit no ties.
Official game rules will be submitted to teams that are voted to play.

As for what Andy has and is doing for the sport of hs baseball in NC I do not refute the fact that he has created something special in NC. A lot of good players have been able to be seen. So I will end on that.

it was great to meet you again on Saturday. Quite simply your son is a warrior. He has more heart in his back pocket than most kids have in there chest. He is going to be a very special player. He is already a very special young man.

If you have a son that plays on one of these teams in the summer I can assure you your not worried about team bragging rights.

#1 - He is playing with and for great people.
#2 - He is playing and getting better from the experience.
#3 - He is having fun playing the game.
#4 - He will show to someone that matters that he can play at the next level of play.
#5 - His team mates show to someone that matters that they can play at the next level of play.
    #6 - They win games.
#7 - They make friends and meet other great kids.
#8 - They learn something from their team mates that will help them be a better player.
#9 - They learn something from their coaches that will help them be a better player.
#10 - They see what it takes to play at the next level.

Bragging rights have absolutely nothing to do with it.
