Can I hear it for the East?

The baseball players in this state don't care about how strong their conference is or who is better-- east or west-- or playing in the State Championship. All they care about is:

The east doesn't have depth like this.

Southeast Guilford
Ragsdale
Glenn
Southwest Guilford
East Rowan
Mooresville
South Rowan
NW Cabarrus
West Rowan
Lake Norman

and that's just from 3 conferences!

That doesn't even factor in your St Stephens and RS Central and South Point and teams like that in the far west. Rocky Mount MAY have been the best team, but the 3A West was definitely stronger than the 3A East

I will agree that no matter who the "best" team was, that doesn't matter one bit to the boys from Rocky Mount. They probably WERE the best, actually. But all that matters is who gets hot and plays well at the right time. There were probably 10 teams who had the ability to get hot and run off 8 playoff wins if they played well, and Rocky Mount was the one that was able to do it.

Now you base your assumption on what? How many of these teams I listed have you actually seen play? You say the west is deeper. Without having seen the east play , you are just making an assumption based only on what you know about the west.

You say the east doesnt have depth like this. How do you know if you have not even seen the eastern teams play? Do you travel across the state of NC and scout 3A baseball?

Im heading out to Cary to watch some baseball. We can list our second 10 later if you would like. I will tell you about the teams from the Coastal region if you would like. RS Central and South Point should have been on your top 10.

I saw five of your top 10 play this year - how many of my top 10 did you see play?

I dunno...this statement may be just as hilarious. We have many posters from the east on here. So to say that this board is completely biased to the west is inaccurate....aren't you from the east?

Geez...give this east vs west mentality a rest. That goes to all posters. It's been my experience for one to claim one area is better than another is pure ignorance

I don't want to polarize this board with that stuff. There are other sites you can go to do that.

This post is not directed at any one person, but in general


I'm very serious about this. Most of us care about the son's of the posters on here. We don't care what team they play on. Don't bring this stuff (us vs them) to this board. It takes away from the purpose of promoting the players and informing the parents. Or having civil discussion and disagreements. This other stuff has been nothing short of nonsense.

Let's move on

 

I don't disagree, but TBR is not completely western posters and those numbers are changing every year.
