    Talent galore

What a great event in the mountains this weekend. I got to see many of the big time players in the state perform. Lots of talented young guys on the 2010 teams as well.

    WHAT??? Is that correct.

Coach Hardee does such a great job with the Watauga High School field. I hope everyone enjoyed playing there!

    What a first class coach

I umpired there Friday night and Coach Hardee not only let us use his personal office to change in BUT he also told us that the concession stand was there to serve us anything we needed or wanted.

Now we know why showcases and HS baseball make little if no money.

I bet that was Watauga ace Jon Sharpe. I keep telling everybody that this kid is highly underrated....plus he is a young junior, too.

Since you have been personally "touched" by the great one. Now, Stretchy, you can see why I hold him in such high esteem. (He's a class act) And I've got something for him whenever I see him again.

Yes, 4-4 is the correct score. Not sure what is meant by your "What???" comment. Both teams played a pretty good game that was fun to watch.

What a great field at App and renovations are coming along nicely. My son loves to play on that field and as usual the Impact event was top notch. Did not get to see the Watauga field, but have heard many good things about it as well.

It's a great field. But you'll be hungry by the time you park and walk 5 miles to get there. But that's why Coach Hardee does so well at his concession stand
...the man may be from the mountains, but he has those "mountain smarts"
