    Congrats to Morgan Peeler for earning Conf. Pitcher of ther year. Morgan you are a special person and a hard worker. You deserve it!!!!!! Good luck next year we are going to miss you. Good luck to you this summer with the COBRAS(the original U KNOW!!!!!!!)

    I also want to congratulate the 9 players from Central Cabarrus that made all-conf.

    MECA All Conference - Hopewell

    Just wanted to send a quick shout out to the girls from Hopewell who were selected as members of this years MECA All Conference Team. This year was a great year for Hopewell, as they went 22-4, with their only losses coming at the hands of Central Cab., Butler, and N. Davidson. Job well done ladies, and congratulations.

    Christina Melton - 2008 (Hopewell Outstanding Pitcher award)
    Janna Lewis - 2008 (Hopewell MVP award)
    Kristy Giragosian - 2009
    Stephanie Spain - 2010 (Hopewell Offensive Player of Year award)

    Special thanks to Christina and Janna for representing Hopewell for 4 great years. You both are special young ladies, as well as special players. Hopewell wishes you the best as you take your softball talents to the next level. For those unaware, Christina will be playing for Campbell University, and Janna will be heading to USC-Upstate.

    Congrats. To Ally .Been watching you three years (before my move to the area and your move to Central) Several of the schools I represent rate you high on the charts.

    Christina and Jana, great four years and thanks for all you did for Lady Blues! You both will be nice additions to your college of choice KG and "Spaino" nice job, glad to have had U as Blues and of course Spaino is just getting started with us.
