Coach27, out of respect for your request, I edited my post and will refrain from the other arguments.

Congrats to Chad Flack! Great career no doubt!

    Thank you

I don't think you have to be a UNC fan to appreciate a guy like Chad and what he has done and how he handles himself.

I'm an NC State supporter even though today was rough but I think Chad has had a college career most of us dream about and I hope that he can be the Mike Piazza of the recruiting class and prove everyone wrong and have an amazing Pro career. Best of luck Chad and the rest of the UNC baseball team as they head off to Omaha later this week.

Flack was a true team above self guy. He played 3rd, OF, 1st, and even caught. He played where ever there was a hole due to injury or graduation while at UNC. He is probably best at 3rd and could project there as a pro.

I agree. I think of him as a Troy Glaus. He not only is an outstanding player, but a leader as well.

Coach 27- That was very emotional time when Chad came to plate. He has been such a role model for my son. His work ethic is unmatched through the good times and the bad. He is such a positive influence on the team and has done so much for UNC baseball that Greg is just honored to be associated with him. We can talk all night about his dropping numbers over the last 2 years, but there is nobody at Carolina who would not want him on the field. After seeing him play all year, I have not seen any third baseman who could play the glove like Chad can. He makes all the plays in every situation. I look forward to watching him and his teamates in Omaha. Go Heels!!!
