NC SOFTBALL GATORADE PLAYER OF THE YEAR

    Chelsea Leonard from Central Davidson High School was named the NC Softball Gatorade Player of the Year this week on June 10. She is such an awesome softball player and person - we are all very proud of her. Chelsea and the entire softball team's success has been wonderful for the Central Davidson community. It has brought so much excitement and pride to the school and community. The younger girls who play for DT and Southwood came to the games this past season and many even came to Raleigh. It is wonderful to have Chelsea and the rest of the team as role models for these young girls.

    Congratulations to a wonderful young lady!!! Can't wait for it to start all over again next Spring. Go Spartans!!

    Truly A "PLAYER OF THE YEAR"

    I will agree this young lady is truly a "PLAYER OF THE YEAR" !!! Her crudentials surpass all others this 2008 softball season !! Congrats Chelsea !!

    Great pitcher, one of best ever in NC! Darn good hitter with sweet stroke, heck we led her off! Nice team mate! The Louisville Cardinals can't wait.
